A Mother’s Day Poem

A Mother’s Day poem

Today is the day you celebrate mom
For putting up with your shit
She’s pretty awesome as mothers go
Even when you throw a fit
She gave you life
You gave her grey hair
Not exactly an even trade
But she loves you unconditionally
She probably deserves a parade
She cares for your every need
And always puts herself last
She encourages you and supports your dreams
And she never forgets the past
She will remind you of every embarrassing thing
And laugh at you with love
She will cry with you, laugh with you, play with you
She will give you a playful shove
So on this day, celebrate your mom
And make her feel real special
For putting up with all your crap over the years
She really deserves a medal

Happy Mother’s Day!
